My name is Nicole and welcome to my slow moments.

I travel to linger in coffee shops, hunt down the best local bites, and to get lost in every bookshop I pass by. I’m here for the places and flavors that feel like home (even when I am miles away from mine).

Come wander with me as I share my favorite reads, hidden corners, and the kind of travel tips you may actually want to use. You can learn more about me and why I started A Little Roam or start reading through my diary (my blog posts). ❤︎

I am the book-loving, ramen-hunting, slow-traveling human behind A Little Roam.

I started this blog to share the way I see the world: not just through grand landmarks and bucket-list spots, but through the quiet streets, bookstores, cozy cafes, and meals so good they make you rethink your life choices (but in a good way, you know?).

My travel style is slow and intentional, I like to wander without a checklist and follow the smell of something delicious. Maybe lose an hour flipping through paperbacks I don’t need but absolutely must have! I like to see what the area has to offer for me, instead of planning every little detail out.

Here you’ll find:

  • Stories from my travels (and the occasional travel mishap)
  • Local food finds worth hopping on a flight for
  • Bookshop discoveries and literary adventures
  • Photo diaries and visual snippets that capture the mood of a place

Think of this as a well-worn journal you can flip through – a little snippet of the world through my eyes. If you love books, good food, and taking the scenic routes, well you’re in the right place.

Welcome to A Little Roam ❤︎
